This means Imam Abu Hurayra conducts an Islamic only marriage ceremony which entitles you to an authentic Islamic Nikah marriage contract. This service is strictly a religious ceremony and is not registered with the Australian government unless requested as a combined ceremony.
Requirements for this Service
1. Identification
Photo identification (passports or drivers licences) for both the bride and groom.
2. Two Witnesses
Two Muslim male witnesses over the age of puberty must be present to witness the marriage contract.
3. The Wali (Bride's Guardian)
Consent of the bride's Wali (Father, Wakeel, Paternal Grandfather, Brother, or Imam Abu Hurayra for revert sisters).
4. Agreed Mahr (Dowry)
Clear mutual agreement on the prompt and deferred Mahr specified in the Islamic contract.
